Why do you need a Home Warranty?
Life is unpredictable, home appliance and systems are not cheap. When a major appliance or system malfunctions, you could be facing a large cost for repair or replacement, and not to mention the potential inconvenience it could place on you and your home.
With a home warranty in place, backed by a dedicated support team to help you navigate the claims process, you and your home are better protected.

What is the difference between a Home Warranty and Home Insurance?
Home Owners Insurance, or HOI covers damages to your personal property and the structural integrity of your home in case of major events like natural disasters or unwarranted break ins.
A home warranty from HomeAssurance provides coverage for your homes internal systems and appliances in the event of unpredictable malfunctions.

How do I request service?
Once you have met your waiting period and coverage begins, you can file a claim by calling our Claims Department during business hours.
Monday - Thursday 8a - 8p CST and Friday 8a - 7p CST.

How do I make payments?
Subscribers can manage their payments and policies easily by calling our dedicated Customer Support team.

What happens if I miss my payment due date?
At HomeAssurance, we understand life can sometimes get in the way. That is why we automatically give a grace period of 10 days for you to pay your monthly payment.

How can I cancel my subscription?
Please contact a member of our Customer Support team to help guide you through the cancellation process.

What is the waiting period for coverage to begin?
HomeAssurance has a 30-day waiting period for claims that are not pre-existing.

Once I file a claim, how soon will my claim be addressed?
HomeAssurance strives to have a servicer out to your home to preform the initial diagnosis within 48 hours. If by some chance, we are unable to find an available servicer within our network of contractors, we will work to find an available contractor in your area to evaluate your claim.
HomeAssurance strives to have claims finalized no later than 5 business days.
A dedicated HomeAssurance Claims Associate will be assigned to you to ensure you and your home are taken care of throughout the entire servicing of your claim. They will be able to answer any questions and eliminate any potential roadblocks that may arise during your servicing. -
If my claim is denied, will I have any out-of-pocket expenses?
Yes, you are responsible for the $75 service fee whether the claim is denied or not.

Why would a claim be denied?
There are multiple reasons a claim can be denied. We try to work with our customers to the best of our ability to get them back up and running.
If the root cause of a failure is lack of maintenance, your claim may not qualify for coverage. Please see your policy book for specifics to your policy.

Can I choose my own servicing contractor?
If you have a dedicated contactor you would like to service your home, they will need to be licensed and agree to accept payments from HomeAssurance.
If you have a malfunction on an appliance or system in your home and you receive servicing or repair before filing your claim, you may be eligible for reimbursement.

Does HomeAssurance offer roof coverage?
HomeAssurance does not offer a warranty package that covers roof damages, repair, or replacement.
This is where your Home Owners Insurance that me mentioned earlier would step in.
